Privacy Policy
CleanModels collects the minimum data required to make and deliver your order, answer your questions, and — only if you ask for it — send you marketing email. What we collect when you order
Your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, and the details of what you ordered. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor's checkout and are never seen or stored by us — we only receive a confirmation, the last four digits, and the payment status.
Cart and browsing data
Your browser stores your cart, a random cart identifier, your currency preference and recently viewed products. If you enter your email at checkout and don't finish, we may use that email to send you up to three reminders about the items left in your cart; every reminder contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
Marketing email
We only email marketing if you tick the opt-in box at checkout or sign up to our list. We store your email address, the date and source of your consent, and your subscription status. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with one click, at any time.
Reviews
Reviews can only be left by verified purchasers. We store your rating, review text, display name and the email used to place the order. Your email address and order reference are never shown publicly — only your display name, rating and review text appear on the product page.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form include your name, email and the content of your message, and are kept so we can answer you and reference the conversation later.
Cookies and similar technology
We use strictly necessary browser storage only, and no advertising or analytics trackers. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
3D and AR features
The 3D model viewer and "view in your space" AR preview run in your own browser or your phone's built-in AR viewer. We do not receive, store or process your camera feed or any images of your home.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers needed to run the shop: our payment processor (Stripe), our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, the carrier delivering your parcel, and an address-autocomplete service that receives the partial address you type at checkout. Each processes data on our instructions. We never sell your data.
International transfers
Some of these providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. They are engaged under their standard data protection terms. [If you sell into the UK/EU, ask a lawyer to confirm the transfer mechanism you rely on.]
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require in [your country] (commonly six to seven years). Contact messages and cart-reminder data are kept for up to 24 months. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we don't email you again by mistake.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, correction of it, deletion of it, restriction of or objection to its use, portability, and withdrawal of consent — and you can ask us not to sell or share your personal information (we don't). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Email cleanmodels1@gmail.com with your request and the email address used on your order; we aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to keep order records required by law even after a deletion request.
Complaints
If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, email cleanmodels1@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Security
Data is held in access-controlled databases, admin access requires authentication with session timeouts and audit logging, and payment data never touches our servers.
